SimpleeWurx™ “Simple Guide”
- Power on the Apple® iPad Mini. Bluetooth must be On. Settings > Bluetooth
- Power on the SimpleeWurx™ device. The blue Bluetooth LED on the front of the device will be flashing.
- Open the SimpleeWurx™ app on the Apple® iPad Mini.
- In the upper right corner touch Connect. Pull down on the window to search and display available Devices. Then, select your device from the list. A blue ✓ will be placed by that Device. This will establish the Bluetooth communication link and save the device to the list. Once the device has connected the blue LED on the SimpleeWurx™ device will remain on steady. This confirms that the device is now connected and communicating with the app. Touch the main screen to close the Connect window.
- Connect either the Headband or Limb bands to the accessory cable and then connect them to the device.
- Attach the selected band(s) to your body.
- Connect the Apple® EarPods with remote volume control to the iPad Mini and ears.
- Touch the SimpleeWurx™ app screen, the program menu will slide into view. Make your program selections and touch ‘Start’.
- Adjust the volume from your Apple® EarPods for maximum enjoyment!
- Now, sit back, relax, and focus your thoughts on the Extraordinary Life that is about to unfold!
Head Band with Conductive Silicone inserts with ‘snap on’ connectors
Made from the durable USA supple black nylon with VELCRO® fasteners. Simply ‘snap’ the ends of the accessory cable to the Headband and secure the wires within the small VELCRO® retainers to keep the wires safely out of the way.
Center the conductive silicone inserts just above the brows.
Limb Bands made of Conductive Silicone with ‘snap on’ connectors
The Conductive Silicone Limb bands have VELCRO® fasteners. Simply ‘snap on’ the ends of the accessory cable, one for each Limb band. The Limb bands can be used either on the wrist or ankles. Limb Bands can easily be extended with an additional piece of VELCRO®.
**Both the Headband and Limb bands are made of quality components made in the USA by us and will provide years of reliable service.
Photon Emitter – 9 Light Emitting Diodes (Fig. 2)

Our Photon Emitter is compact, uniquely designed, and is fitted with 9 powerful LED lights. The cable is made from high-quality components with a nylon woven covering to keep the cable tangle free. Cabling and components are assembled by us to provide many years of reliable service.
**Hold the LED head 1/4 to 1/2 inch from the target area.
Restrictions of Attachment Use if the user has one or more of the following conditions:
- Pacemaker
- Insulin pump (connected to or attached to the body)
- Epilepsy/Seizures
- Pregnant
- Child under three years of age
- Electrical hyperreactivity
If the person to use the SimpleeWurx™ system falls into any of the above categories, it is UNSAFE for them to use either the conductive silicone Headband, Limb bands, or Photon Emitter attachments due to the electronic waves generated through them.
However, anyone that falls into any of the above categories can still enjoy any program within the SimpleeWurx™ app as long as the SimpleeWurx™ device is powered OFF.
The SimpleeWurx™ app programs were intentionally designed to be used as stand-alone programs to encourage mental entrainment (cognitive participation) and relaxation conveniently.
Therefore, it is important to understand that while one program may not obtain the results you are seeking that moment, another in the series may. For prolonged issues, it is safe to use a program or series more than once a day.
Exploring the variety of the programs will help you find your favorites. The thing to keep in mind is to ‘tickle’ and entice the body to heal itself, not to overwhelm it with any modality. The three programs represent a summary of emotions that have the ability to deal with the complexities of a stressful day. The programs are short so you can take a quick break anytime. The three programs within the Affect menu will play a video with guided imagery, music, and electronic waves selected specifically for each program.

Follow this simple rule when trying to determine which attachment to use:
- Above the diaphragm – Headband or Limb bands used at the wrists.

Note: The diaphragm is a large, dome shaped muscle located directly below the lungs. The diaphragm supports breathing.
There are only three programs you could not use the Headband or Limb bands with and they are the programs within the Photons menu.

1. Apple® iPad Mini – Functions and Features
If you are unfamiliar with using an iPad, we highly recommend reviewing the Apple® iPad User Guide located on the Home screen within iBooks (Fig. 1). The User Guide is extremely user-friendly, provides rapid familiarization of the iPad, and is a valuable technical resource. The iPad touch sensitivity can be quickly mastered with a little practice.
2. Check the Battery Charge
It is always best to verify the charge of the Apple® iPad Mini and the SimpleeWurx™ device before starting.
- Apple® iPad Mini – Home: upper-right corner of the status bar. (Fig. 2)
- SimpleeWurx™ Device – The Yellow LED is not flashing, top-off the charge if unsure.
3. Check to Ensure the Power is On
Apple® iPad Mini – iPad is on the Home screen where the SimpleeWurx™ Icon visible. (Fig. 3)
SimpleeWurx™ Device – The Red LED is On and the Blue LED is flashing.
4. Blue LED continues to flash and SimpleeWurx™ app does not connect.
Apple® iPad Mini – Make sure Bluetooth is turned on. Go to Settings > Bluetooth.
SimpleeWurx™ Device – Power cycle the device. Toggle the power button Off/On.
SimpleeWurx™ Device – Slow to connect to iPad, the device needs to be charged.
5. The SimpleeWurx™ app isn’t working or responding properly.
Close the app. If any app isn’t working properly, you can force it to quit.
Double click on the Home button and swipe the app up from the app switcher display. (Fig. 4)
Then reopen the SimpleeWurx™ app.
- Blue LED – Bluetooth connectivity
Flashing – Device is not connected to the app
Steady – Device is connected to the app - Orange LED – Battery charge in progress
- Green LED – Battery charge is complete
- Red LED – Power On
- Yellow LED – Flash indicates Low Battery
- Accessory Port (Fig. 1; 2.5 audio type) – For use with Headband and Limb band attachments.

Apple® iPad Mini – Safety, Handling, and Support
The Basics: Disconnect all cables and turn iPad off (press and hold the Sleep/Wake button, then slide the onscreen slider). Please see the Apple® iPad User Guide Appendix D: Safety, Handling and Support for additional information and details.
- Use a soft, lint-free cloth.
- Avoid getting moisture in openings.
- Don’t use cleaning products or compressed air.
iPad is designed to work in ambient temperatures between 32° and 95° F (0° and 35° C) and stored at temperatures between -4° and 113° F (-20° and 45° C). iPad can be damaged and battery life shortened if stored or operated outside of these temperature ranges. Avoid exposing iPad to dramatic changes in temperature or humidity. When you’re using iPad or charging the battery, it is normal for iPad to get warm.
SimpleeWurx™ Device
We recommend to caring for the SimpleeWurx™ device the same as the iPad instructions above. The SimpleeWurx™ device can be wiped down with a dampened cloth with warm soapy water. Use soap that is safe for your skin. Never use harsh chemicals, essential oils, abrasive pads or any spray cleaner as moisture and harsh chemicals are enemies to electronics.
SimpleeWurx™ Head and Limb Bands
Our Head and Limb Bands are made from high-quality carbon embedded silicone. Silicone is resistant to body oils and salts with minimum care. The snaps are made of corrosion resistant brass, plated with nickel. All VELCRO® brand fastenings are used for durability. The conductive silicone can quickly be wiped down with a dampened cloth with warm soapy water. Use soap that is safe for your skin and it will be safe for the bands as well. The snaps may be wiped in the same manner when needed. Never use harsh chemicals, essential oils, abrasive pads or agents on the carbon embedded silicone. If the conductive material ever becomes sticky, rigid or extremely dull in appearance, you are using the wrong cleaner. If that happens simply ‘snap on’ a replacement set!
SimpleeWurx™ Photon Emitter
Our Photon Emitter is made from durable ABS plastic with high-quality cable and connectors. The Photon Emitter can be wiped down with a dampened cloth with warm soapy water. Use soap that is safe for your skin. Never use harsh chemicals, essential oils, abrasive pads or any spray cleaner as moisture and harsh chemicals are enemies to electronics. A dry Q-tip® may be used to clean around each LED opening and lens.

SimpleeWurx™ stays safe and secure! The Pelican™ 1150 Case is watertight, crushproof and dust proof. It is made of Ultra-High Impact structural copolymer that makes it extremely strong and durable. It has a neoprene o-ring, easy-open double throw latches that seal perfectly. It includes an automatic pressure equalization valve for quick equalization after changes in atmospheric pressure. The Pelican™ 1150 case rated to be buoyant up to 8 lbs of total weight! Clean with general cleaner or mild soap when needed.
